Introduction
- Khalid Modern Industries (PVT) Ltd. is located in Hasilpur Tehsil of Bahawalpur District in southern Punjab, Pakistan. KMI started its business in January 1990 as a cotton factory & oil mill. After an experience of 8 years of organization, KMI entered the field of Vanaspati ghee/Cooking oil, and the unit was established at Vehari Road, Hasilpur in 1998. Its production capacity is 150 million tons daily.
KMI group purchased a sugar mill in Peshawar namely “Khazana Sugar Mills during an auction in 1999. In February 2002, this group also purchased another cotton factory (Ex: Ali Cotton factory, Chhona Wala Road, Hasilpur) during an auction. The success story of the KMI group doesn’t stop here; it goes/is going ahead. In 2003, KMI group established a Solvent extraction plant on the premises of KMI at Vehari Road, Hasilpur. Recently KMI management launched Modern Bottled Drinking Water to server premium quality mineral water our consumers. We believe that quality is the key to Success and KMI markets their products with high standards of excellence.

Mohammad Ashiq Khalid (Late)
- Mohammad Ashiq Khalid (Late) was a successful businessman in Pakistan and UK. He was born in 1946 in chak 89, Hasilpur. At the age of 16 he moved to UK and started several food businesses. Within the passage of time, he entered in cash and carry and along with real estate business and achieved numerous success milestones
In 90s, the late Mohammed Ashiq Khalid initiated the Khalid Modern Industries in Pakistan and this consists of a cotton factory, Ghee (butter) factory, agriculture farm and farmland based in Hasilpur, Bahawalpur. He brought the Khazana Sugar Mill in Peshawar in 1997 and went onto achieve so much.
In March 2021 Mohammed Ashiq Khalid passed away and his family has inherited the businesses and properties. The Pakistani properties are mainly looked after by Frank but all three brothers plan to travel to Pakistan an improve and expand those businesses and carry on the success of the late Mohammed Ashiq Khalid in his memory. They will also carry on the charity work to help the less fortunate that Senior Mr Khalid started in his memory.

- Frank Khalid/Fukhera Khalid is a businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He has followed his passion for family, food, football and film to become an award winning and celebrated business leader both in Pakistan & UK. After the Death of His father, being the elder son of Ch Ashiq Khalid (Late), Frank held the responsibility of Khalid Modren Industries, Khazana Suger Mills, Progressive Agriculture and Dairy Farms and Real estate Business. Our group of companies in Pakistan and UK is growing and touching the new horizons of development and Success under the imminent vision and invincible struggle of our Chairman.

Amjid Khalid
- Amjad joined the business in 2003 & took over Shims role in the export side of the business.
Amjad opened Dough Central a Pizza/sub restaurant in 2020 in Colliers Wood, the restaurant is doing well and has had great reviews and featured in Forbes magazine.
Shimshad Khalid
- Shim joined Elbrook cash and carry in 1987 and quickly became our off licence buyer and dealt with our export division. Shim was also the one that opened our Elbrook Mitcham with senior Mr Mohammed Ashiq Khalid in 1993.Shim decided to open his own business in 2004 when he opened the famous night club Kabaret Prophecy in Soho, West End. It was voted number night club by independent in 2006. Shim due to bad health closed Kabaret in 2010.Shim then helped grow our Chak89 business with the restaurant and is now back with the cash and carry.
